Its a Maybach 72 custom stretch limo but what got me thinking is who owns this piece of luxury... We all know (or rather should know) who owns the hotel building in the background...coz basically it's spelled out when you jump on a bus tour in London...

"This building on your left is owned by the ...... investment agency which is owned by ... ... ... ...(a mouthful name) who is etc etc etc..."

So might this possibly be owned by the same man? Am I right or am I right?

Generally when you want to make your car go faster you have two options; supercharge or turbocharge. The Danish automaker Zenvo has handbuilt both into the ST1 Supercar. What’s the result? Zero-60mph in under 3 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 233mph, imaine how fast it would go if you take the limiter off. What powers this kind of speed demon?

The handbuilt ST1 runs on a 7.0 liter V8, turbocharged, supercharged, 1104hp engine that produces 4500 rpm. This amazing amount of torque is controlled via a 6-speed manual gear box with a hydraulic limited slip differential. Zenvo has gone and done it with this one.

What does a boy like me spend it on?

But first, he has to convert it. I did convert it. I converted BND$ 200 in Brunei to Malaysian ringgit at an exchange rate of 2.38.

Gone within the first night...

Thank Goodness I brought another BND$370 with me.

I begged my dad to loan me $200 but he gave me just $130...Brunei Dollars of course.

4 Day shopping trip to KK

Three families within our extended family went for a road trip to Kota Kinabalu from the 7th to the 10th of December...

which explains my lack of update~
(I didnt bring along my laptop)

We went there in a convoy of three cars...

and stayed at the Marina Court...
where Bruneians usually seek refuge

They might as well set up a consulate there...
coz there wont be short of Brunei licensed-plated cars there

Our journey there was smooth without a hitch...except at Kuala Lurah prior to exit. The same can't be said on our journey back.

At one point there were only our three cars on a stretch of beautiful mountain road with a magnificent view of valleys and mountains just before entering Sabah...and unfortunately I don't have a picture to show.

Here are some substitutes...

Considering we went on a Sunday...it was weird to see us being the few cars heading to KK. Many instead were going back home...

When we reached there I was just amazed by their rapid development... which would put ours to shame. They even have Suria Sabah an affiliate of Suria KLCC under construction.

Upon arriving we were greeted by the new Airport terminal Building...again putting ours to utter shame...

They have a second terminal too...for budget airlines such as Air Asia...

We also drove up newly-built flyovers which in our last trip didnt exist. When was the last time a flyover was built in Brunei?

Then in front of Marina Court...they plan to build an amazing waterfront...judging from the picture I saw and one which I didnt take a picture of...since I was busy counting my RM $$$ and spending it.

We went to 1Borneo and I had a fun time spending my RM $$$ there...whilst also getting my legs and feet sore.

Oh, one more thing... Malaysians suck at driving!!!

Wanna know what I mean? Try driving 20km/h on a country road holding back dozens of cars (mostly Bruneians hurrying to escape the queue for the two Ferries)

James Bond: Quantum of Solace

I watched James Bond: Quantum of Solace today and the movie was great. I just couldn’t resist going to the cinema to watch it. I know I’m in the middle of exams and all but who cares. Actually my dad couldn’t resist offering me to go watch it with him so blame him…haha. Really…I swear. It was too late for him to deny me the movie once I agreed. He did try. I just brought up religion…

Anyway I’m no spoiler so there won’t be any in here…just the cars. I’ve got to tell you the Brits also don’t have any problem smashing up their precious cars. I won’t mind if they crashed their American built counterparts but they left those untouched. Unfortunately they wrecked their national pride and the pride of James Bond. Well…actually Bond (Daniel Craig) himself wrecked it…

So… right now I’m gonna right the list & pictures of precious cars which made it to the cinemas…in order of their first appearances.

The cars and other transportation devices are found in different parts of the globe starting from a small town village named Siena in Italy.

You’ll see these two almost immediately the movie starts (haha…spoiler much!)Yea…the tunnel action in the trailer…

Then you’ll get to see the first appearance of the Ford Street Ka somewhere down the movie timeline.

Range Rover Sport too...(a favourite of mine) shown in the picture with the plane.

Then you’ll come across the air fight scene consisting of Douglas DC-10 and whatever the other plane was. I couldn’t identify it in the middle of the action. Oh yea, a Huey Helicopter too.

Just a bit of spoiler. I couldn’t fathom why he traded his Range Rover for the Ugly DC-3 of the 1930’s era instead of the smaller lighter more modern plane just a few meters down the runway. You’ll know when you watch it….heehee…sorry

Then a very expensive plane costing dearer than the film budget itself makes several appearances here and there…What I meant was Gulfstream G550’s…

After that you’ll see these amazing looking Ford SUV’s. Ford Edge..

So as you can see, they brought in a whole lot of car casts this time and yet they didn’t bother to crash useless American car manufacturer’s which only look good on the outside but are full of crap on the inside. Instead they prefer to give a death sentence to an awfully priceless Aston Martin. I’m ashamed of Bond. Maybe its just tradition, Bond tradition. You know, even Pierce Brosnan (former Bond) crashed his cars from BMW’s to Astons.

Somehow I think on the film maker’s minds lay a reason that they can’t make good movie’s without wrecking god damn beautiful cars to get the audiences emotions running. At least this time I wasn’t emotionally distressed since Batman came out on cinema. The people who watched that with me all consoled me… including the part where a huge pile of money was burnt. Haha.

Overall, I’d recommend it to you to watch Bond and his gals…

I've just realized that I have got a lot to cover on this National Expose` project of mine... and it'll definitely take months...not weeks...MONTHS...or a Year, even if I post every day which is a nuisance... so I won't give it all at one go. I'll post up other things as well. But I'm telling you~

I finally watched it last night... My first O Level paper starts on Monday and here I was watching a movie... No my parents didn't get mad...coz My dad offered me to join him...and so I went along with him...

The movie was fantastic... The action scenes were awesome and people in the cinema showed their paranoia~ But I did think it just pushes all the information we need to know as an audience right up our faces or just before a scene so that we could understand the whole thing... I actually watched it twice yesterday, Online and at the cinema and I realized there were a lot of things I had skipped or missed from my first watch. A bit more humour wouldn't hurt either, say...

but what I hated about the movie...especially Hollywood Movies in general, is that they never think twice of wrecking a beautiful and expensive car... In this case, they decided to wreck a beautiful black Porsche Cayenne!!! They should have given it to me instead, damn assholes...

I couldn't find the Porsche snapshot from the movie itself so here's a random picture to show you how they wrecked an awfully beautiful car...

After the movie I realized it was raining outside with loud thunder and blinding flashes of lightning. There were also policemen everywhere. I felt as if I was in a movie myself now, and my phone was vibrating... It was just a friend asking for some credit...

We stayed for a while hoping the weather would get better and I realized that the policemen were escorts to Al-Muhtadee Billah and Wife who was watching Mamma Mia! Like any petrol head would, I checked out their ride of course...

Now this couple is knowned to like Volkswagen. Pg Sarah has an Eos (or maybe Eos's) while Al Muhtadee Billah has surely Phantoms... and decided he'll use one last night and saving his Lamborghini from the awful weather. Here's the pic...Sorry for the blurriness, my phone's not up to the whole photography job.

Personally I like the Volvo S80 Escorts better...

An coincidentally as well, I overheard my dad talking with an inside person (whom happen to be his friend) say that Wu Chun, our big superstar was also there hanging around in the theatre. The person told my dad we could check it out but we decided not to. Not a big fan you know...

This Merc here is totally one of my favourites. It's an S 600 Guard Pullman. Whether it's supposed to pull me around or not I'm not sure but I just can't help imagining me in that car being driven by hmm... I had my Hari Raya Open House yesterday and I had the most tiring and energy draining day I could remember. I woke up at 7am and work non-stop until 11am when the guests started pouring in... Anyway, this isnt a blog where I would rant about my miserable life...No~ It's about cars and this was what I wanted you all to see...

and this wasn't peak hour yet... Oh no...

There wasnt any picture at peak hour because I was too busy breaking my own legs... but I gotta tell you, the picture tells only half (or less) of the story... You could see people parking at the main gate itself and the house in the background whose parking space is fully occupied isnt even mine. Even the other neighbour/cousin (whose house cant be seen here) has it's parking space full and all the way down the hill and down the road for the matter.

But I gotta say... It's a good time for car spotting...

Then again, its also time for complete eyesores (protons n crap=they're both the same).

Yes, because this car is designed for the hardcore Ferrari Tifosi's out there who want it raw!!! I'm left speechless that none of the two Ferrari's ended up having points and in fact Kimi crashed himself into the barriers in the closing stages of the race. I'm really sorry for Massa who went from first to dead last...all because Ferrari alone decided to use an automatic lollipop system...which MALFUNCTIONED!!! Now, Hamilton's finished third and increasing his gap in the Driver's championship and we have THREE races left... I'm speechless... I really am... and I couldn't care less that Alonso won the race (He used to be my least favourite driver). How on earth did this happen guys? To all you guys out there who watched...please send in your comments...

Exotics: Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione

I've realized so far that my blog has more Ferrari's than any other car... So now I'm going to talk about this one right here...

This Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is probably the most beautifully crafted piece of engineering ITALY has ever produced so far... and I have to say it beats most of my beloved Ferrari's as well. Just look at it and savour its beauty... The contour lines, the sharp aerodynamic front end and the huge booty... The beautiful RED paint job...( Oh btw, RED is my favourite colour as you all would've guessed by now). Doesn't it make you feel special in any way... No?

It's Ass (rear) is equally as magnificent dont you think... and there are four exhaust pipes too which will make you go Vroom! past all the other lame cars here in Brunei. I'm talking about all those shitty RX-8's, Nissan 350Z's and those alike running around in convoys... and even if they are alone...they're just plain common and plain BORING!!! There is no Competizione...

Why? It's a V8 which has 400 brake horsepower (bhp) and has a top speed of 300Km/h(186 miles/h) and goes from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds...beats your Mazda any day...

This game looks really interesting... I'm not sure for which console it's for whether its for the PS3, PSP, Xbox 360 0r PC but I'm sure it isn't for Nintendo's Wii... Just look at the graphics! Its as close as us underage boys could ever get to driving the real thing...since it is I'm sure an official Ferrari merchandise.

Unfortunately... I don't have a PS3 yet, not that I'm sure that I want one because my PS2 is an active dust accumulator and God knows where I've misplaced my PSP. I wouldn't even know if it was stolen by anyone who could've gotten close to it at home or in school... and besides, I think I should spend my money on something which could bring me closer to my real Ferrari... instead of a virtual one. Not that I'm saying I wouldn't play it if someone else has it...ehem..ehem... Keep in touch!

Hi... Why did I call my blog FIZU ROMEO? My nickname is Fizu (or this is what I like to be called) and I am a Romeo of the male species... thus FIZU ROMEO (and probably also because I now sound like the long lost son of Alfa Romeo...) and also it matches my theme.. so yea...
